Bridesmaid dresses can be a real hassle. There are so many different options for you it is amazing and terrifying at the same time. Here are a few tips that we have got from Brides that had trouble picking out their dresses but learned these helpful tips just like you will.
*Start looking for your dress at least 6 months before the wedding. It takes a good 3-4 months to get the dress in, then you have to factor in alterations.
*Think about what your girlfriends will want. Yes this day is your day, but your day will be fun if your friends have fun. Choose something that flatters each woman. A lot of brides have been leaning towards the idea of having a different dress but in the same color. If you can find a dress that flatters all of the women then that is amazing! Don't put so much pressure on yourself though. It is your day so you should have some say.
*Pinterest is a life saver! Get ideas on Pinterest before heading into the dress shop. Yes we know it is fun to drink mimosas and try on dresses, but it is also a bit of a time saver if you know the look you are going for and which shop carries those dresses.
*Please oh please don't be going into this thinking "Let's find a dress that they can wear again" because honestly they probably won't. Unless you are going to let your bridesmaids wear jeans, boots and a nice blouse, they most likely won't be wearing their dress again.
*Color is always hard to decide also. Keep in mind that you don't have to do one color. You can do different shades of the same color, the same color, or completely different colors.
*Also keep in mind the season and place of your wedding. If it is cold make sure your bridesmaids won't freeze, either get a long sleeve dress or a dress that will look cute with a sweater.
